Kate Hudson exudes glamour as she leads stars at the 2023 HCA Awards

In the middle of the gown was a small, gold-plated embellishment to hold the dress together. 

The Pitch Perfect alum additionally slipped into a pair of open-toed, black heels to coincide with the color scheme of her ensemble. 

Similar to both Kate and Madelyn, her locks were also slicked back and styled into a fashionable up do for the annual ceremony. 

The talented star opted to keep her accessories minimalistic in order to allow the dress to be the main focal point, and added a dainty pair of hooped earrings. 

Brittany also took time to showcase her toned frame inside the venue to pose for additional photos before the awards event commenced. 

A bold, smoky shadow was worn around her eyes along with a nude-colored, matte tint to her lips. 

The Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) was founded in 2016, and hosts two annual award ceremonies each year, including the HCA Film Awards and the HCA TV Awards. 

Other talented celebrities were also in attendance at the event, including Yellowjackets actress, Sophie Thatcher.  

She donned a long-sleeved, black dress with a diamond-shaped cutout on the front that showed off her toned abs. 

The gown also contained a plunging neckline as well as wrapped details on her lower waist and chest area. 

For an edgy touch, the beauty added an assortment of silver rings onto her fingers, along with a unique pair of earrings. 

Her brunette locks were parted in the middle and flowed down past her shoulders in light waves, while her side bangs fell onto her forehead. 

Joseph Gordon-Levitt was dapper in a dark red velvet suit which he paired with an off-black dress shirt and black tie. 

The Glass Onion star slipped into a pair of burgundy-colored dress shoes for a fashionable touch to his look. During the black and white portrait session, he showed off a rather dramatic pose as a hand crept out into the frame towards him. 

He was soon joined by Terry Crews, who also dressed to impress in a classic black tuxedo. The America’s Got Talent host slipped into a pair of black slacks that contained a gold line of fabric on each side. 

The White Chicks actor also opted for a crisp white dress shirt, along with a black bowtie. As he flaunted a few funny poses on the red carpet, the star flashed a large, gold watch that was worn on his left wrist. 

Comedian, Tig Notaro, was also pictured on the red carpet, and donned classic black slacks along with a matching blazer. 

The star, who took on hosting duties for the ceremony, also added a gray vest and a white button up underneath. 

Everything Everywhere All At Once actor, Ke Huy Quan, was seen embracing fellow co-star, Jenny Slate, as they reunited during the exciting evening. Their critically acclaimed A24 film was also awarded the top honor of the evening: Best Picture, as well as Best Original Screenplay, Best Director, and Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh. 

He opted for a black suit with a plain white shirt underneath, and received the Best Supporting Actor Award during the ceremony. 

Jenny was a stunner in a sheer, sleeveless dark brown dress that contained sequin, embroidered details throughout the material. The star was also joined by her husband, Ben Shattuck, whom she said ‘I do’ to in 2021. 

Knives Out franchise writer and director, Rian Johnson, also dressed up in a gray suit along with a white dress shirt and striped tie. 

The star, who received a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay for Glass Onion, completed his look with sleek, black dress shoes. 

His wife, Katie Longworth, dazzled in a sleeveless, dark navy sequin dress that contained a deep, low V-neck cut. The two lovebirds, who tied the knot in 2018, paused for a memorable photo together on the red carpet. 

The Fabelmans actor, Gabriel LaBelle, appeared to be in high spirits as he arrived wearing a vibrant, blue suit and a white dress shirt that was left partially unbuttoned at the collar. 

The film, which also stars Michelle Williams and Paul Dano, has garnered critical acclaim, as well as seven Oscar nominations. 

Angela Bassett flashed an excited smile inside the hotel as she held gold statuettes in her hand after winning Best Supporting Actress for her role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. 

She sparkled in a black sequin blazer along with matching trousers that glittered under the bright lights. 

The Guardians Of The Galaxy actress, Pom Klementeiff, who is known for tackling the role of Mantis in the popular franchise, opted for a pop of color in a red pantsuit that contained a plunging, deep V-neck cut and pointed shoulder pads. 

The French star also opted for red, heeled boots and slicked her platinum blonde locks away from her face for a fashionable edge. 

A long, silver necklace was worn to accessorize her outfit, along with a pair of sparkling earrings. 

Brendan Fraser, who has received recognition for his leading role in The Whale, was honored with Best Actor at the awards event. 

He happily gripped the gold HCA statuette after accepting the award and paused for a photo session wearing a black suit which he paired with a black, button up and black, satin tie. 

Shrinking actress, Christa Miller, crossed paths with The Mummy actor and stopped for a friendly snap together. 

She showed off her stunning frame in a fitted, black dress with cutouts on the shoulder areas of her long-sleeves that offered a fashionable touch to the all-black ensemble. 

Actress and producer, Lena Waithe, was also in attendance and donned a cream-colored, black striped suit and for a casual flare, opted for a plain black shirt underneath. 

The Chi series creator donned a few gold necklaces to accessorize the look and was seen catching up with host, Tig, and also crossed paths with singer and actress, Teyana Taylor. 

The Coming 2 America star opted for a monochromatic look wearing a long-sleeved, black leather coat along with a turtle-neck top underneath to stay warm in the cooler, rainy weather. 

The two stars later took a stylish photo together in the star-studded portrait room and stood back to back for a close-up snap to show off the details of their ensembles. 

M3GAN actress, Violet McGraw, donned a yellow layered dress while her hair was styled into an up do, allowing a few longer strands to border the sides of her face. 

Her older sister and The Black Phone star, Madeleine McGraw, was also seen on the red carpet, and donned a strapless, tulle dress with a sparkling, silver netting on top. A thin strip of black fabric was placed on the waist line for a small contrast of color. 

Budding teenage actor and fellow The Black Phone star, Mason Thames, was seen wearing a sleek, black suit which was paired with a black, Prada tie, for a luxurious addition to the outfit. 

He later stopped for a close-up black and white snap photo along with other talented stars during the evening, and had the chance to celebrate when The Black Phone won Best Horror Film.

The Dark Knight actor, David Dastmalchian, was seen wearing a plaid, dark navy suit along with silver-studded black dress shoes. His wife, Evelyn Leigh, put on a leggy display wearing a dark green, high-waisted skirt with a white button tucked inside. 

Lukita Maxwell, who stared in HBO Max’s series, Generation, was classy in a sleeveless, semi-sheer white gown with ruffled details. 

Her brunette locks were parted in the middle, and fell down straight past her shoulders, revealing a pair of small, silver earrings.  

Other winners during the night included S.S. Rajamouli, who was awarded Best Stunts for the film, RRR, which also won Best Action Film amid the ceremony. 

M.M. Keeravani was also seen holding a stature in his hand after being honored with Best Original Song, also for the movie, RRR. 

Poker Face actress, Danielle MacDonald, flaunted her chic sense of style in a black, sequin top that was secured with a belt made of the same color and material. 

The talented star also opted for matching trousers along with open-toed, black pumps to complete her outfit for the night. 

Harvey Guillen, who is known for starring in the comedic series, What We Do In The Shadows, additionally donned all-black to attend the ceremony. However, to add a bit of color, the actor slipped into shiny, dark red shoes that shone under the lights on the red carpet. 

With the HCA Film Awards having taken place this month, the HCA TV Awards will be held later this year in the summer to recognize the best in television.
